Trains, Planes and Automobiles: Andrew Duff MEP visits Luton

Andrew Duff, Liberal Democrat MEP for Eastern England, tomorrow continues his regional tour of every County Council and Unitary Authority in the East of England.
The four-month tour, will allow Mr Duff to be briefed by the Chief Executive in each County and Unitary Authority on a wide range of current issues. He will also as meet with Large Employers across the region.
Tomorrow Mr Duff will be visiting Luton Borough Council, Vauxhalls' Luton Plant and London Luton Airport to be briefed on the latest developments for these important regional employers.
He will conclude his visit with a meeting with Luton's Lib Dem Councillors and leading party figures.
Mr Duff commented:
"Representing a diverse and dynamic region such as the Eastern England is an enormous challenge.
"However, I will only be an effective MEP if I am kept up to date and in touch with what are the real concerns of people in Luton.
"This Regional Programme of visits will be an opportunity to deepen my understanding of all the many current issues in Luton.
"Luton Airport and Vauxhalls' Luton are vital issues within the region's European Strategy.
"It really is a case of Trains, Planes and Automobiles."
